Mass Marketing for the Little Guy

This is a new day for marketing if you are over 55. Things have changed and changed quickly plus today there is so much competition and the big competitors make life difficult because they are so expert at mass marketing and can drive prices lower because of their large client bases. The 'little guy' has to become mass market literate and market their uniqueness on a large scale. Attending chamber meetings and the Lions Club will no longer guarantee a flow of business. That Lions member friend may be buying on line from someone across the country and you never know. Today takes more focused and continuous Internet marketing for most small businesses and salespeople who sell many services. I have learned to market via the Internet and you can to--it just takes time and commitment. One of the ways I market myself is youtube magic. Here is my lastest posting.

If you are in Sales you are a Professional Speaker

You can increase your sales by calling all of the service clubs in your area and schedule yourself as a speaker. You get the opportunity to meet people and to present your ideas. Every service club is actively seeking speakers. They want you to talk ! There are really only a couple of rules to follow (1) be on time and do not speak longer than agreed and (2) don't bore the audience..So, develop a talk that you are excited about and go out and speak.

The good thing about the bad economic times is that so many of us had to dig down deep and bring back all of the basics to survive. Now that I am starting to thrive again I want to help others to thrive.

A year ago I had not even heard of YouTube and now I have postings on mortgages, real estate, magic and recently sales training.

I am going to post 100 sales tips on youtube video. These will be things the sales person can implement immediately and with some effort the sales person will soon be on a success path.
